Research Use Policy

LUX Research Supply supplies research compounds to qualified research customers for laboratory research use only. Each lot of research material is tested by an independent laboratory, and a certificate of analysis is available to account holders.

We make no statement about any use of our research material outside the laboratory, and none should be inferred.

• Not drugs, and not approved by the FDA for any use
• Not dietary supplements, food, food additives, or cosmetics
• Not for human or animal consumption or use of any kind
• Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• Not for household or clinical use

Research material is sold only to account holders who are 21 years of age or older and who are acquiring it for legitimate laboratory research.

Every account must accept our research use agreement before it is created. Each account holder confirms, in five separate statements, that they are 21 or older; that the material is for laboratory research use only; that it is not for human or animal consumption and is not a drug, supplement, or food; that they agree to our Terms of Sale and this Research Use Policy; and that they accept full responsibility for complying with all applicable laws.

We record the agreement version, the date and time of acceptance, the IP address, and the browser user agent for every account. When this agreement is updated, every account holder must accept the new version before their next order can be placed.

We may refuse, limit, or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we cannot reasonably satisfy ourselves that the purchaser is a qualified research customer.

Research material must be handled only by appropriately trained personnel using suitable laboratory controls and protective equipment. We do not publish preparation or usage instructions of any kind, and we cannot advise on them. Storage conditions are stated on each certificate of analysis.

The regulatory status of research material varies by jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining whether you may lawfully purchase, import, possess, and use research material where you are located, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, local, and international law. We make no representation that any research material is lawful in any particular jurisdiction.
