The affiliate program: how it works

A flat 10% commission on every order placed with your personal discount code. Your audience gets a discount at the same time, so the code is worth sharing on its own merits. Commission is tracked per order in your portal and stamped on the order itself rather than estimated, so what you see is what was earned. There is no cost to join. • Apply. Tell us where your audience is. Approval is usually same-day.
• Share your code. You receive a personal discount code. Every order placed with it is credited to you automatically.
• Get paid. Add your payout details in Payout Settings in the portal and request a payout whenever you want to be paid.

The portal is at luxresearchsupply.com/affiliate. It holds your code, your orders, your running commission and your payout details.

An affiliate code is a discount code. It applies instead of the automatic volume tier, not on top of it — see volume pricing tiers explained. The order is credited to the affiliate regardless of which discount the cart ends up using. Commission is calculated on the order as placed.

Affiliates may describe what the site says: independent assay, certificates of analysis, lot discipline, shipping terms, the research-use-only conditions. They may not describe a use, a dose, a benefit or an outcome for any material, because we do not and cannot. Every material is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and is not for human or veterinary use — research use only. A code shared alongside a claim we would not make is a code that gets withdrawn.

The portal is the affiliate's own record. It shows the personal discount code, every order placed with it, the commission stamped on each of those orders, the running total, and the payout details entered under Payout Settings. Because commission is recorded on the order itself at the time it is placed, the portal is not an estimate that is reconciled later; it is the ledger. A payout is requested from the portal, against the balance it shows, whenever the affiliate wants to be paid. Anything the portal does not answer — an order that should have been credited, a code that did not apply — goes to support with the affiliate code and the order number, and is answered within one business day. The terms of the program are agreed at application and are available in the portal.

Affiliates are also researchers' first point of contact about the supplier, so it helps to know the site: the quality standard, the shipping terms, and the receiving routine in inspecting a vial on arrival are the things an audience most often asks about.
